rjimmer 4
If it's not too far to drive, charge him £1 a rabbit shot. That way he knows, and can see, what you are doing and what he has to pay. Shoot from inside a vehicle if possible and leave the bodies until you are leaving before having a pickup. I shot 85 in one evening just driving round and round one field as they were coming out to feed. Quote Link to post
welshshrek 0
I was in the same sittuation recently where a local stud farm owner called me saying that they were over run with rabbits and asked if i could come over and give her a price to get rid... I went over and had a look i spotted about 20 in the one field alone (there's 6 fields in total) and said at the end of the day i do this as enjoyment and for the sport and as long as she'd cover my fuel and what ever ammo i use to which she £65, anyway it took 12 visits over 3 weeks to dispatch 178 rabbits to which she was more than pleased with, she paid me my expensses and said there was something else in there for my time and trouble an extra £300...i even sold the rabbits on to family and friends at £1.50 each and to 3 local butchers for £1 each. result. I now have 3 local farms permission ,off her say so and all of them offer to pay me a small contribution towards fuel.. atb Quote Link to post

Go with Welshshreks reply, ie do it at cost, the benefit in kind, ie the goodwill and the possibility will be better than cash. You never know, you may gain access to shoot that golf course, and they are fun Quote Link to post
