ROB.BOB 21
hi guys. i wanting to have a go at rearing some game birds, the farm im on has (from what ive seen) a few red legs, phesants and about 3 mallard. its quite open (big fields) but with plenty of woodland around the place. so i was thinking of gray partridge, any hints/tips? i was also thinking of trying mallard because there is a good river on the farm with lots of smaller streams around it, with some slower pool, very deep bits, shallow bits and a HUGE patch full or little reid islands. dose this sound like duck country to anybody else? cheers rob Quote Link to post

yorksjt 0
Why not feed the pools to bring in the wild ducks, it will be less hassel and cheaper. Quote Link to post
