andy s410c 59 Posted June 26, 2009 Report Share Posted June 26, 2009 Finally been able to get out after getting laid off for a couple of weeks from work.Arrived at the bottom quarry for midnight,warm,no wind & a beautiful blue twilight sky.Got kitted up & bagged 2 in the first 5 mins good start.I had a mooch around the farmyard & missed 2 sitters i noticed the sheds were empty so i had a mooch in & the longtails were out in force bagged 3 & shot sevaral more but i could'nt get to them. I had a mooch around the quarry wall bagged 1 but the sheep kept charging around spooking the rabbits so i cut my losses & headed to the back paddock fields & bagged another4.I fancied another go at the rats so a forced march back to the yard .I settled in 10 yds away from a skip dump area & waited for the rats to show...managed half a dozen or so from this position,again could'nt reach some of them. It was daylight very quickly so i called it a day,shoveled the rats up & put them in the skip.I'll be paying them another visit on Sunday Quote Link to post
