make sure he is gettin plenty of fresh air. [bANNED TEXT] u are cleaning out his kennel only use mild disenfectant like detol because the fumes strong disenfectant eg. jase fluid will irratate his throat.

A good vet would tell you the truth-Kennel cough is a virus and therefore not treatable .It has to run its course and is very infectious during the first week.It lasts for roughly 2 weeks and was no doubt transfered to you from contact with other dogs either in the early stages or full blown .No antibiotics will affect it either way.The usual thing is to keep them in and avoid passing it on .

thats what he did tell me that it would run its course but my dog must b coughing 4 at least a month now is that normal

It depends on how many dogs you keep together.....it can go round and round like a cold. Virkon S is a better disinfectant. Durimitex is for lofts and mites.
