bsa mag problems

hi lads just wanted to know whether anyone else has had problems with bsa mags not indexing when the bolt is worked? they seem to work fine when out of the gun and tripped manually but not when fitted, or could it be the spring that sits under the mag thats causing the problems, grateful for any advice cheers gav

try a drop of three in one oil mate or gun oil.......should free up ok

 

if not ,.........i sent mine to bsa and they re-furbed them free of charge

hi there buddy i did have a little trouble with mine to start but it was because i was no pulling the trigger all the way so the little pin was not pushing the notch on the mag

 

 

you can adjust it slighty but may cause other probs with it

 

is it the black metal 1 or the older mag

Couldnt get on with the mag when i had my super10. I think bsa mags are shit thats what put me off buying the r10. atb bedrock

it is the black metal ones,it may be that im not pulling the trigger back far enough as it does seem to be that the pin isnt always pressing the release in the mag,il try it tomorrow cheers gav

Had the same problem with my s10 ended up getting a new mag and it's ok now.

hey matey this is the most comon problem with bsa that i have come across and its the same with every model thats one of the reasons i dont like bsa among other things aswell . im not saying that their arnt any fully functinol bsa rifles out their .im just saying its a comon problem that i see all the time and thats why i stay clear of all bsa.
