Phantom Pregnancy???

Recommended Posts

Can any one give me some advice as my dad is away working and i havent had chance to ask him about my jills.

i have 2 hobs and 2 jills, they have been seperated for about 2months before the jills came into season, as we dont want any kits this year. Both jills came into season about 6weeks ago however the year old jill has now come out of season but the other one is still fully in season.

Is this because she is only a year old or is she having a phantom pregnancy??? and help or information on this is much appreciated.

Thanks Katie.

a jill having a phantom, will look pregnant, holding her up, she'll look like a lightbulb shape, have a few here look just like that, its probably more likely, the age, my younger jills just came into season once, the older jills are on their second go now

The cheapest methord if you dont have or cant borrow a snipped hob is the jill jab you take your ferret to a vet and he injects her with a chemical that bring's her out of season the only bad point being the jill can get hard lumps under the injection site if they get repeated injection's to bring them out of season
