HELP..... got mice in 2 of my sheds and it skinks of piss,been putting down rat poison, looks like bits of corn thats pink and smells of chocalate but there still there as i saw one today??????? i thought the poison would do the trick :blink: going to get some traps tmorrow, is there anything else i can do to get rid

ps might sit at the back door with my .410 ;) that will sort them me thinks

sticky sheets you can buy em from most hardware shops that'll sort the little b*****ds!!

as a general rule glue boards should be used as a last result as they are inhumane and horrible tbh get a load of eith little nipper breakback traps or some of those black plastic snap-E traps bait them with peanut butter and site them where ther has been recent activity and you should see aninstant reduction in the numbers ;)

cheers for your replies boys , been to the local pet supplies and got me 5 LITTLE NIPPER traps, set them at 12.30 and just looked now and 1 little twat in the neck hold :clapper: gave it my spanial as a scooby snack :snack:

 

also seen 1 more in the shed, i wonder how many there is....we soon shall see lol

yeah as said you should get quite a few for the first few days and it will start to decline as numbers reduce, monitor for signs such as droppings and food matter as well

Mate your giving them to your dogs to eat and you have poison down?,,think about it will ya!.

 

I wouldn't worry too much about that, providing the bait is aproved for the purpose.

 

You would have to feed an awful lot of dead mice that had been poisoned with an anti-coagulant for it to have any effect on a dog.
