Don't. That's an 'Old Bob' trick that'll just as likely make him worse. If he's not castrated, get him done. That'll calm him down. Quote Link to post
stubby 175
also have to say, animals can sense when your frightened of them, its obvious he can be handled, as you comment he's ok with your dad, but if your picking up, being hesitant, expecting to get bittern, you probably will, watch him before picking up, bring your hand in from behind, rather than "offering" it in his face, Quote Link to post
The one 8,468
Aye sounds like he's sensing your scared of him Quote Link to post

Maybe hes got a crush? Quote Link to post
stealthy1 3,964
Think you both have to sit down and have a beer and a cigar together, a bit of a heart to heart, if that fails, bite him back Quote Link to post
gilly-93 31
Any other ideas guys? Quote Link to post

Kay 3,709
I had a hob that whenever he came in to season changed personality overnight , he would grab me, arms , hands, if he could & hang on, he would straddle my arm , holding on for dear life as if he were trying to mate , the bites werent the sort you get when you pick up a hungry ferret, no chomping down on the flesh , just a very tight grip of what ever flesh he could get hold off Quote Link to post
