Guest air gunner
I had three rabbits in the pot today (from when i went out with the big boys) And have had many others. the problem is i never really manage to get a good taste out of them i have tried pies casseroles stews etc but none have really tasted amazing. I was just wondering if anyone here has eaten any tasty rabbits? Its getting quite frustrating. there is one recipe i really liked but i did not cook it and when i tried it tasted like crap. your views? Quote Link to post

Guest Scuba1
Here is one for you to try out. Take one bunny and cover it with butter milk and leave it in there over night. Get some Cajun spice and season it with that and fry in olive oil until golden. Now add some pineapple chunks and some double cream heat it but don't boil it, add salt and a bit of Tabasco and serve with rice. Easy to make and tastes nice. If you don't like spicy stuff, let me know because I have another few ways of preparing wabbit. ATB Michael Quote Link to post

Edgar 1
Remember older rabbits will need longer cooking to stop them being tough. Quote Link to post
