Naustroms 92
I have a five month old pitbull that I want to get started on rats. He isn't very big and won't be any bigger than his Dam. 38lbs, or 17 kilos, at the most. I've read up on ratting with JRTs, Pats and borders but just wanted to know if anyone else works a bully breed on rats and if there is a certain way to bring them along. Quote Link to post

Malt 379
Try showing it a few live rats caught in a live capture trap. I don't know any terrier that doesn't get wound up once the dogs had a nip on the nose! Then he'll know all about rats! Quote Link to post

Naustroms 92
Try showing it a few live rats caught in a live capture trap. I don't know any terrier that doesn't get wound up once the dogs had a nip on the nose! Then he'll know all about rats! I set a couple live traps in my buddy's stable the other day. He'll give me a ring when i catch anything. ]thats a bit silly saying i have a pitbull pup thought they woz banned I'm across the pond in the states where thankfully this breed isn't banned.
