deanflute 550
Do people think that Rabbit can taste different depending on what it has been feeding on?
max abell 196
We used to control rabbits down by this stream and a lot of wild garlic used to grow there And yes the rabbits from this place used to taste garlicie it was strange
Axholme Ferreter 0
Not sure about the taste but I was ferreting some new permission earlier this year when I found something strange. When I peed all the rabbits they were all peeing blood!! Then I gutted them and all their internal organs were bright red and the flesh too. I was a bit concerned thet they had got some strange disease and was going to bury them when I realised that we were next to a field of Beetroot. They had been tucking in on the beet and it had stained their urine, guts and everything!! This tast idea is interesting though, if you fed rabbits the right stuff they could season themselves before you cooked them!! All the best AF

All the best AF Yes they can mate! Same idea as corn fed chicken or salt marsh lamb. Did you ever notice the taste difference in pigeons even though they might have come from the same bag? Depending on what the animal eats will greatly affect its taste.
