have a question about cammo tape

Recommended Posts

I have been wondering the same!

I have heard that its pretty 'low tack' and should not harm the rifle finish in any way.

Im going to give it a go, but wont be for a few weeks though as funds are very low :(

the tape itself doesn't harm the gun but when it gets wet it does hold the moisture and will cause rust underneath over time.

a better option is to buy a stretchy gun 'sock' which you cut to fit the gun and which you pull on and off when you please.

i was looking at these do they fit snug? or do they move around on the gun.. thanks

being made from an elasticated material they do hug the gun to a certain extent.you just cut holes in them for the trigger, scope etc.

dont bother with the real tree duck tape, its to shiney n the camo print wears off quite quickly, the self adhesive stretchy camo fabric tape woks quite well, and its reuseable so u can take it off for cleanin etc
