Phantom 631
I have been wondering the same! I have heard that its pretty 'low tack' and should not harm the rifle finish in any way. Im going to give it a go, but wont be for a few weeks though as funds are very low Phantom Quote Link to post
half n' half 8
the tape itself doesn't harm the gun but when it gets wet it does hold the moisture and will cause rust underneath over time. a better option is to buy a stretchy gun 'sock' which you cut to fit the gun and which you pull on and off when you please. RustyG 0
dont bother with the real tree duck tape, its to shiney n the camo print wears off quite quickly, the self adhesive stretchy camo fabric tape woks quite well, and its reuseable so u can take it off for cleanin etc Quote Link to post

Guest Bubbleduck
I bought some of that realtree tape off ebay a while back, took it off yesterday and it left a load of sticky crap all over. Cleaned up like new with WD40 though. Quote Link to post
