michaelw5753 0 Posted June 20, 2009 Report Share Posted June 20, 2009 me and my mate went out today we went out on thursday and only got one between us so we were hoping for more luck and less wind. we got there at 10 to 5 and i headed for a spot i had picked out on thursday, just before i got to my chosen place i saw 2 rabbits so i stalked em and shot 1, things were looking good so i carried on walking and i looked back and the other one had popped out so i turnd round back towards it and (thwack. as they say) number 2 for me and it was only just turned 5 o clock, any way i sat for an hour and odd and got one more which is my new record as i normally get 0,1 or 2 so i walked back to my mate and he had got 2. we set off back to the motor and he saw a rabbit and shot it to level the score but it jumped into the nettles so we left it so i argued that i had more in the bag but just as we got back to the motor he spotted a bunny about 40 yards away,i thought he would not get it but the spawny bugger did(right shot to be honest) so the score ended up 4 - 3 to him but 6 in the bag. i dont think we,ll be winning this competition but i feel a lot better than thursday when i did n't get any.
