Horsey People on Here

This was me at 16 when I worked on a hunt yard on Bodmin Moor.... BEST riding of my life up there!

I now have a 2yo WB x TB filly, and a TB brood mare on loan... traggicaly lost my foal 2 weeks ago in a freak accident :(

And this was my little girl when she was 5, showing her little pony we had on loan, she won the coloured class :)

 

well done on her winning , i bet she was pleased , and you proud .

 

Thankyou, yes, everso! It was only a local SWEP show, but there was over 10 in the class, and for her first time in hand it was brill experience :)

Sorry to hear...what happened?

 

She managed to wedge her head between two gate posts, literally a tiny gap, and panicked, lost her back legs, and was found hanging, sat up like a dog on her backside... must have broke her neck :( gutting

I am Horsey to but never owned my own..

went to agriculture collage did Horse managment...

then went on to do work experience with chariots of fire up here in Scotland...Loved every minute of it..

 

I then did some work with Horse wisperer in Wiltshire this was an eye opener and a brill experience..

 

I then ended up at Luckington in a hunt yard....

working by the side of Royalty... :D

 

I had to finishworking with horses as i got a knee injury..

These were the best years of my life and i hope one day when i have won the lottery i will have many Horses...

Love all the pics and brings back many happy memorys....

I was parked next to the Chariots of Fire at South of England show this year. Was funny...they had this little ducky/goosey chick thing. it followed them around was funny. and they had their sheep things between the lorry and the chainlink fence. Sorry to hear about the knee injury!

Oh my god thats horrible!! How old was she? Was the mare okay? Its scary some of the accidents horses get involved in.
