Cold Ethyl 63
Nope my mums in a high rise and wouldnt go in her house if they where their lol.Council policy apperntly the council dont class them as domesticated pets according to them theyre dangerous capable of killing other pets and injuring the general public.I was gonna put them round the back but ive been told if they dont go then i will lose the flat and the sspca will be called in to remove them and that could be lethal. So i am screwed royally

Cold Ethyl 63
Cheers mate i am majorly pissed about getting rid of my ferrets but more annoyed at the bull they keep spouting lol. They have got the wrong end of the stick and got their facts way wrong.Never heard ever of a ferret mauling a human. They are certainly capable of killing pet cats and guinea pigs and bunnies but must be really clever cos theres 2 padlocked hasp and stales not to mention the door notch thing as well feck me if they can get out of that i will eat my cap

Quasar 1
My gf was striclty told NO PETS of any kind apart from fish when she applied for her house via council before i met her ansd she had a dalmatian from puppy. She wrote an appealing letter to the VERY top and they inspected and granted her wish. In all seriousness i would write a letter to the very top and ask for someone to visit to show how clean your ferret and area is and how well behaved it is... They person might actually see aww what an adorable creature and sign you off with an ok. Seriously, write to them...

There have been a few people saying that they have been told to get rid of the ferret for the same stupid reason. I mean i have ferrets with a private landlord - same principle really but i can keep 100's if i wanted aslong as there caged (so it dnt get out n harm public or other animals). Dont they realise people use these animals as working stock along with dogs. It really gets up my nose as it will urs im sure!! Do you know [bANNED TEXT] i would do is just ignore them man. If u really feel cut up about it then stuff em. They have tenents with big nasty dogs - do they get asked to throw em out....no cos they gotta proove its and evil b*****d 1st. Same goes for the ferret as far as im concerned! Good luck anyway. I know [bANNED TEXT] i would do FM
Cold Ethyl 63
Nah i even had the lawer send them letters etc to no avail has been going on for a while now.The ferrets have all gone to a really good working home would have posted lass nite but too busy crying like a big jessie when they left.Gave the housing officer hell over it and kids are devastated especially my son who was really into them.Really disgusted at the whole thing and still cant look at the hutch without welling up.The guy who took them has got himself some cracking beasties.I thought about ignoring it but they had a notice of eviction sitting waiting to be served over them so i had to give them up.I will get new ferrets when i get a house and keep them in a shed out of eyeshot.
