Little Butch 16
I've been Sea Fishing for a while now but want to really try my hand at Freshwater Fishing. I have been before but I don't know all that much about It If I'm honest. I've got loads of old Rods and Reels etc and am not looking to spend loads of cash to get me going as I have a fair amount of gear already. I'm looking to Fish small Rivers as these stocked lakes don't appeal to me all that much. What would you say I need? And any tips would be great and If anybody In Suffolk fancys a Fish I'd love to get out with somebody to show me the ropes.. Butch Quote Link to post

Opal 0
My advice is to buy a rod like the John Wilson Avon Quiver among my rods, this is one of the most used. It can be a float rod or a quiver, excellent all rounder. One I caught using it on the Dane. Quote Link to post
droid 11
Good rods mate. I have the Barbel version too, excellent for the Method on carp puddles. These rods are really 4 rods in one, as you can fish them at 11' or 13'. Quote Link to post
