Pembshunter 23
The first time I pumped this gun was a few days ago, It was tight going but I got it done, the second time, I struggled to get to 190....Today, I cant get it above 50....Its impossible, could there be something wrong? The pump seems to be very very hard to pull up, and completely solid on the way down, it seems to take soooo much to get it to 50....WHY DIDNT I GET A BOTTLE! Quote Link to post

Guest buster321c
If its 50 or below , you need to do it from a dive bottle Quote Link to post
Pembshunter 23
Whys that? Quote Link to post
maty j 6
Whys that? To get the valve to close up - It needs the internal pressure to do this. Why let It drop below 50 bar though?? Quote Link to post
Guest Scuba1
There is something wrong with your pump mate as they are not that hard to pump up. ATB Michael Quote Link to post

ATB Michael The other bloke said it has to be from a cylinder its 50 or below....It didnt say that in the book?? That is because the valve may leak at those low pressures while filling but that does not explain the heavy going of the pump. Why did you let it go down to that low pressure anyway? Best keep it between 110 and 180 bar and then its a doddle to fill ATB Michael Quote Link to post

Its not about escaping air stealthy , its about the pump being stiff. Something is seized in the pump ...... strip it down and have a look before the body builder snaps the thing in half.
