S410 Pumping

Recommended Posts

The first time I pumped this gun was a few days ago, It was tight going but I got it done, the second time, I struggled to get to 190....Today, I cant get it above 50....Its impossible, could there be something wrong? The pump seems to be very very hard to pull up, and completely solid on the way down, it seems to take soooo much to get it to 50....WHY DIDNT I GET A BOTTLE!

There is something wrong with your pump mate as they are not that hard to pump up.

The other bloke said it has to be from a cylinder its 50 or below....It didnt say that in the book??

That is because the valve may leak at those low pressures while filling but that does not explain the heavy going of the pump.

Why did you let it go down to that low pressure anyway? Best keep it between 110 and 180 bar and then its a doddle to fill

Seriosuly though....There must be something up with this pump, I got the body builder guy up the street to try it just now and the veins where sitting out on his neck like rhubard stalks.....He couldnt budge it

Like its already been said, styrup pumps wont do it if you've let it go down that low, if I let my gun go down that low with a divers bottle, there is a certain amount of escaped air before the valve takes hold.

Its not about escaping air stealthy , its about the pump being stiff. Something is seized in the pump ...... strip it down and have a look before the body builder snaps the thing in half.
