how much does it cost to post an air rifle and whats the best way to go about it?

any advice much appreciated and the sooner the better

royal mail special delivery at £21.

split the action and the stock and pack them well,side by side as there are length restrictions with this service.

gauranteed before 1pm the next day and insured.

it is illeagal to post an air rifle, for anyone SELLING them !!!!........but if the post office accept it they are duty bound to deliver anything you ask them to..........a legal loop hole !!!!

 

also TNT will carry air guns.

private selling.. and then shipping is fine with royal mail

which now cost £21.40 which is next day delivery before 1 oclock

also up to £500 insurance

 

ive never had to remove the stock from the actoin

I recently sent an air rifle to a lad from here, £7 via Interlink next day delivery.

the reason mail order was banned for airguns, was because the dealer/seller could not prove the age of the purchaser......and as far as im aware the same rules apply to private sales.......but would appreciate it if someone could confirm this.
