fishfish 17 Posted June 16, 2009 Report Share Posted June 16, 2009 This is a pike lure in a brown trout pattern ,carved by hand from English walnut.The lure is fitted with 3D holographic eyes ,traditional hook hangers ,long screws and eagle claw size2 treble hooks.the lure is weighted and is a slow sinking jerkbait. i didnt paint the whole body as i wanted the wonderful walnut grain to show in all its glory,the lure has received 7 coats of 'Ronseal diamond hard floor varnish' for durability.The overall length is 7inches. heres some pictures: this lure will up for sale soon on ebay. thanks for looking. neil r 1,860 Posted June 17, 2009 Report Share Posted June 17, 2009 looks good , it will defenatly catch . size 2 hooks are too small for a 7 inch jerk bait though , most jerk baits of that size use two 0/1 to 0/3 trebles . they need to be that big because the bulk of the lure can mask smaller trebles and lead to missing hits Quote Link to post

T78 4 Posted June 17, 2009 Report Share Posted June 17, 2009 in all fairness,you can pay 10/15 quid for a plastic shop bought lure.this one is much better quality and a one off.its one the lure collecters will love,get two on ebay fighting over it and i don't see why it wouldn't do 35.
