fasthands 2
This is the result of my first outing with my new AA S410c .177. I love the gun but did find the trigger action a little poor, ie no feel to it, very hard to feel the point where the gun was going to fire. I hope it will get better as the gun beds in. Can anyone tell me if this was the case with their S410 if they had it from NEW? Also the cocking mech is really stiff, I have to really pull like hell to make sure the mag has rotated, again I hope this will get better as the gun beds in. I think my Logun Axsor was better in overall quality, the trigger feel was amazing on it, also the mag could be loaded with out any pellets falling out, which happens on the S410 mag as I found out. But all this aside the S410 suits me 100% better, and I think the little gripes I have found with it will soon sort themselves out as I get used to it and it beds in. It was fitted with a Hawke Nighteye 3-9x50 IR scope which i think isn't a patch on the cheaper Richter Optik 3-9x50 IR scope I had on my Logun. but not to worry it still does the job. I got wet through on this outing but the bunnies were still out there, I got the 3rd one down at a distance of approx 40 yards right in the back of it head dropped instantly!! I now see how much faster the .177 travels opposed to the .22. I am still open minded to which is best, only time will tell if I change my mind, but I am impressed with .177. And the AA S410c.... Freddy Watts 1
Sounds like you had a good outing there fasthands. Can't help with the info you need though as i have never owned an S410. I am sure someone will be able to shed some light on it. Interesting about the scope though I will have to remember that if I ever get a new scope. ATB Freddy Edited June 16, 2009 by Freddy Watts Quote Link to post
SEAN3513 7
the trigger is adjustable.....i found mine to be ok but i know lads that havn't and have adjusted them and are now happy with them. the bolt action is fairly stiff ( but positive) and will wear in in time....try lubing it with some silicone lube it will ease it. ( or it could be your girlie noodle arms)....lol i agree with you about the scopes......i have had several makes over the years including ones that cost as much as the rifle, but, the RICHTER OPTIK scopes, for the money are superb...and take some beating. glad your enjoying it good luck sean Quote Link to post
fasthands 2
Going to have to work on these "girlie noodle arms" then.... Quote Link to post

Guest Scuba1
Going to have to work on these "girlie noodle arms" then.... No need for that, just put a tin or two through t and it will loosen up. As for the trigger, it is very adjustable. Just set it the way you like it. There are two ways of stopping the last pellet from falling out the mag. 1: keep the magazine between two indexes when you carry it in your pocket and the just turn it to the correct spot when you put it in the gun. 2: push the last pellet in it until it gets helt by the o- ring in the magazine ( you may have to use a pen for that one ) And last but not least, .22 is the only real calibre ATB Michael Quote Link to post

davyt63 1,845
nice shooting fasthands as to the trigger, as a bove.for the trigger i didnt have to adjust mine it was ok ,you will get use to it.but will say when loading your rifle fill the mag then turn it so its half over the hole then just face your rifle towards the ground index the mag round and load hence no falling pellets, beware when cocking your rifle make sure you give it a good tug{ until you hear a final click} other wise you will end up double loading it,and you dont want to do that now !! regards davy Quote Link to post
