barraboy 28 Posted July 12, 2006 Report Share Posted July 12, 2006 i had an afternoon free, so decided i would take myself off down the shoot and bag some pigeons i had visions of posting me with gun and rows of pigeon stretching out before me. so no dog just me and the gun, he aint ready yet so when i take him i spend more time focussed on him than shooting and get next to nowt, hahaha or is that because im rubbish. anyway headed off only to find the rape has yet to be cut so pigeons are a little scarce, three singed ones dont really count. so i come away with one crow [lift = lost in fecking thistles] and one pesky squirrel. caught feeding on one of the pheasant feeders. not exactly a glory shot or photos is it but needs to be done. a few more weeks and maybe i'll get my photo of me with rows of pigeons, but somehow i doubt it...im not good enough.
