Shamo 319
3ft long, 20mm gauge and a wedge shape at the tip, made of stainless steel.......just like my Brother makes!...lol. 3ft long to be able to use it in a hole/in tight if needs be, short enough to put across back of Quad, stainless for obvious reasons, 20mm so not too heavy to carry. Hepher 86
3 1/2FT STAINLESS, 99% OF DIGS ARE AROUND THE 1METER DEPTH SO A SPIT THAT LONG IS IDEAL, SLIGHT SHARPENING ON THE TIP JUST FOR EASE OF THE BARR GOING THROUGH THE EARTH. I KKNOW WITH THE ADVANCEMENT OF NEW LOCATING EQUIPMENT THERE ARE LADS NOT USING SPIT BARS ANYMORE, I FIND THEM INVALUABLE FOR A FEW REASONS, I LIKE TO HEAR WHAT'S GOIN ON BENEATH THE SOD AND IN TIGHT SPACES THEY ARE GOOD FOR LETTING A LITTLE AIR IN FOR THE DOG. Best one i found is 3 foot of 15mm spring steel, it wont bend. Quote Link to post
