Sterry 0
Im not sure if this is the right section. Im after a new hunting knife, my old opinel no.8 has seen its days pass unfortunatly, what im lookin for is a fixed blade knife with a wooden handle, blade around 4" or 5" blade and preferable with a sheath. Im dont really want to spend mega bucks but proberly around the £60 mark, but obviously bit of change wouldnt go a miss. does anyone know of any knives that are decent and are what im after, any responce will be greatly recieved. Little Butch 16
I'd just go for a Frosts Clipper ~ £10! Doesn't have a Wooden Handle though? Butch Quote Link to post

gluebeam 0
check out the lapp puukko range. http://www.greenmanbushcraft.co.uk/cutting...land-puukko.htm really good blades, easy to sharpen and will last forever, some guy even hammered one into a tree and jumped up and down on it and it was fine. there well within your budget. i would highly reccomend one and then get a good japaneese waterstone with the rest of your money to keep it razor sharp Quote Link to post
dicehorn 38
I think if you were to tell us what you want the knife for, you may get some sensible suggestions tailored to that purpose, Quote Link to post

I think im going to get the brusetto fandsmann trapper. they look really nice knives, not to ostentaious either. cheers, when i get it i'll put a mini reveiw up on my findings.
