Unsold Pups

Hi

 

I had a litter of labrador pups and i manage to sell 5 but i got 3 pups left and now they are 10 weeks old. I already got couple dogs but i dont want to keep all the pups maybe just 2 but def 1.

 

What should I do? try train them basic command and keep advertising?

already have by £50 any less and i be having the other puppies owners coming back to me complaining about their price they paid for

try advertising on other sites maybe but make sure ya get good homes or it aint worth it in the long run. pups welfare is priority good luck mate.

well one of them were reserved but the new owners pulled out due to that they bought a flat (dimwits) and they other person went for a cat instead meaning i would just had 1 pup left to sell. it wouldnt have bothered me by having to train an extra one.

Have the parents been hip scored and do they have all the relevent eye certificates etc. The reason i ask is my friend bred a litter last year for his own use and couldn't sell the pups because he hadn't had any of the checks done on the sire and dam. He ended up letting them go for £50 each!!!

If you look on the KC website they advise everyone to check these before buying pups.

 

If you have the time you could run them on and start basic training with them

all my pups are KC and their parent got their eyes certicate and hips done.

 

some one i know have got 7 yellow lab pups and they are 15 weeks old and the poor bugger havent even sold a single one. he is one of the most respectable breeder.

after last night i had a phone call and i got someone coming to buy and pick up a pup. so i now got 1 left to sell. but i dunno if it going to be a boy or a girl.

make sure you vet the homes if you sell the pups cheaper than what they normally go for cos a lot of folk out there will just do the quick buck thing and sell them on to make profit. look at the topic about the reply from hubbs and you see what I mean.
