Hey lads, my bedi x is now 6 month old and shes doing really well, i just need a bit of advice, when she chases and catches the rabbit, shes seems a bit scared to pick it up or kill it, is this only becasue she is young. is there anything i can do to train her, any help wud b much appreciated

young dogs are often a little shy of picking up the first few bunnies, some try to catch with their feet rather than mouth, but they soon come round with a bit of experience. with luck you may get a soft mouthed dog if you work on the retreive with the first few remember to make it a big fun game.

At 6 month she's only a pup give her time to grow first. 8-10 month old is soon enough to start her on rabbits.IMO

For sure at six months she is still a puppy, give her time, she has lots of promise and will grow into the game.

As already stated she is still a baby, give her more time to mature abit, she will soon show you when shes ready. Theres no rush.
