8shot 192
try feeding them a few times before you start to shoot them jst to get them feeding where you want to shoot after you done it a few times then use tinned cat/dog food thats been liquidised this will help keep them in the same spot feeding rather than take the food good luck atb Quote Link to post

salclalin 240
Fresh Bread, put a couple of slices down and put some 1"x1" mesh on top so they can't carry it away. I've used this method many times. Quote Link to post

If you go down the route of trapping them also use peanut butter as they cant drag it off the traps and you kill rate will be much higher before they become to wary of the traps, this really works as we put in 8 traps down the other night next to the chicken run and in the morning every trap had killed and one even had two of the little buggers squished in it. ghillies 209
see wats in the hopper/food grain/feed bowls and accidently spill a neat mound of it here and there where you want it. failing that mash it ot liquidise it, gauranteed the moment you not ready they'll pick it up and leg it. another is some places they wont touch new food....others just eat the new as a game lol Quote Link to post

Happy hunting all the best 410 PHIL What he said!! peanut butter really does the business - although you may be put off eating it for a while once it has rat brains and blood in it!! - it works great in traps too but a word of warning - it is quite greasy i managed to let a big nipper go off on my thumbnail in jan this year baiting up with peanut butter balls - the pain was, well ....AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH - :shout:  - you get the idea!!! atb chris Edited June 15, 2009 by smokin Quote Link to post
