Wild_and_Irish 11
What do you mix with your greyhound feed for lurchers, I use tripe, anybody use anything better I should know about? It's just I'm not going to be fit to get tripe anymore.
Wild_and_Irish 11
its a bad idea to mix dry and raw food at the same time. feed on or the other an a feed. i feed mine on raw chicken and they trive on it. Can I ask why? It's just I've never had any problems before.
Wild_and_Irish 11
raw food and dry food are digested at differnt speeds. raw food is digested much quicker and it can lead to stomach problems when it mixed with dry stuff, which takes longer to digest. dry stuff is fine on its own. raw is best imo. Would it be ok feeding raw in the morning and dry in the evening or vice versa? I like to keep a varied diet.
sandymere 8,263
Different feeds are indeed digested a different rates but a dogs digestive system will be able to cope, bit like having a ham salad I cope and I'm getting on a bit.
