falcon fn12

Recommended Posts

hi people

been out with me fn12 today and i was really pleased with it. ive just fitted a bipod to it and its made the shooting real easy, i was popping rabbits off from 40 yards or so with clean head shots and ended up with 10 rabs in the bag.

i was just wondering if anyone knows were i can get the mags for these guns, do they need to be sent away? if so where to? are they expensive?

any info will be great

i suspect it would be cheaper to sell and buy one already multi shotted - its not just an add on like the air arms s200

or just get used to it - the mags on the fn's are a funny thing anyway - you need a little brass button to help you fill em etc - if you are shooting sound enough it only takes one pellet and it souldnt take that long to thumb aonther one in as long as ye dont panic

used to have a fn12 lighthunter - cracking rifle - wish id kept it but it was financial at the time

I'd be interested to find out what the general concencus is on this rifle as it's the one I use ???

quite an old design these days - but still better than some of the budget pcp's i my opinion. has its weaknesses such as the barrel clamp and low fill count - you could get a reg for these by airmasters years ago - if used as a hunter i think its fine as the shot count aint important - plinking at the range bit of a pain refilling every 40 shots or so - id have a lighthunter in left hand again it was a great rifle in the 4x4 due to size(sold mine to fund a hw100 at the time). oh and get that detwanger fitted!!! - booiiinng!!

the rifle was also available as the fn8 and 19 - the nubers denoting barrel length - and larger/smaller air cylinders
