JoeD 24
Hi just got back from relay for life St Albans which lasted from 2pm saturday till 10am today, and I know this is a bit of a pointless thread but I have never been to any of these cancer research events but I am shocked at how good they really are and I done my bit and walked 9 hours and the other 7 members of my team walked 7 - 9 hours each aswell and we raised lots of money for it and I will post the final amount raised when I get the figures from out team captain. I was amazed that it was so touching and I am not one to show much emotion but it was hard not to shed a tear when they where reading the poems and had the choir singing and they lit a candle for every person suffering or who had died from cancer that people knew who where participating. I have pictures coming up soon. JoeD
