People think that there is not many hares around in the UK anymore. I have spoken to farmers (pre-ban) saying i took hare's and was asked (politely) to leave them alone because there isn't many about. Rubbish, I can regularly see 10+ a night.

 

On newish bits of permission, 30 or 40 hares can be seen in meadow fields a night (job for the longnet :D )

yes mate i am sure it was a hare not a rabbit..... and i aint telling you...

 

and for the record theres hares not to far from us.... but ii aint saying where...

 

i dont shoot many hares as i liked to see the ran by a lurcher before the ban.. even now after the ban i still dont shoot many of them...

if you liked to see them run pre ban, you obviously dont run them now postban, do you? if you don't, then why dont you shoot them (for obvious reasons, not this time of year)

i saw 11 whislt out lamping for bunnies last friday.

 

 

you must have had plenty of rain where your at, the ground is solid up here, i wouldnt dream of running dogs on it.

 

Unless of course you mean lamping with the rifle?

just dont bother now mate... dont know why.... from seeing the cources before the ban just doesent seem right to shoot them unless i really have to...
