jpnixon 7
There always dodgy fellas at that shanes castle avent been up there in 2 year buh last time i was there it was a joke. Does anyone know when the birr game fair is on. Also i think the sticky with pics is probably the best idea cause you read the posts on stolen dogs then when they move off the first page you kinda forget about it, but with a sticky you can check it steady and the dogs will stay in your mind, just IMO Quote Link to post
Waz 4,266
Well, a few dogs that have been stolen recently are together here. So if you get one offered to you, & think its suspect. A shame in one way as anyone selling an adult will be under suspicion. Edited June 15, 2009 by GD Waz Quote Link to post
jessdale 416
Dogs stolen in Ireland going to England? Dogs stolen in England going to Ireland? .The clearout of TT`s kennels is shocking. The scum that steal these dogs go around with/trade with other scum thats why these dogs are rarely seen again by "decent" lads. There was a meeting about stolen dogs last year, which i went to,but i dont actually know what came out of the meeting.I made a suggestion at the meeting regarding the internet. When a couple of lads up here had thier dogs stolen i had it up on the `net within the hour of them knowing the dogs had gone. But with so many posts, usually shite,on the internet hunting sites the "stolen dog posts" could be on the second page in a couple of hours so may be missed by some people.I suggested a "pop up" screen, like the ones you get on errrr certain sites ,that "pops up" the second you sign on with all the details of the thefts. If you had to manually close this "pop up" there is no way you would not be aware of the stolen animals.Every site i contacted with the idea replied "great idea but it cant be done, sorry".End of that idea then .One of the guys at the meeting had had his dogs stolen and the first reaction from a lot of terrier lads was "they are selling them into Ireland with all the other stolen dogs".But they were found closer to home when the guy caused a proper stir, door knocking and having the police onto a travellers site, and it paid off with him getting most or all of the dogs back.Another stolen terrier, from a different kennel, was mentioned being dug to not a million miles from where it was stolen. These dogs had been stolen to be dug to not to sell on some "international terrier market".We treasure our "digging dogs" and the scum want the same dogs without putting in the effort. The difference between a "digging dog" and a "dog you can have a dig with" is a million miles so is it jealousy, rather than money, that is causing some of these thefts? If it can happen in England it can happen in Ireland too, maybe the dogs are not so far away?.All the very best in getting the dogs back TT.
