OldNog 432
Im not refering to the feeding of cubs, id do it if i had a litter close, but some things said here are f*****g daft things to be sayng "exterminate them" "Trap them and let the dogs run them on a golf course" f**k a duck. Sites full of f*****g cowboys and retards dont tie me in with those other quotes........vermin should be exterminated...fact and your one of the cowboys i mentioned If foxes are in plague proportions where you are then kill away, killing for killing sake just because you can aint 'management' in any shape or form. no offence my man but you are talking shit...if left un-checked a fox will breed and breed the offspring will move out from the area causing problems where ever they end up...they spread disease cause all manner of problems with those that keep livestock, pheasant shoots, poultry even sheep and pidgeons...they are vermin and need to be controlled we have all seen the damage they can do...suprises me some are willing to feed and encourage them...to me thats f****n daft! No need to be preaching to me i aint no fool. I know full well what damage foxes can do, i used to work on a 6,000 acre commercial pheasant and duck shoot for my sins, so have plenty of experieince in what foxes can and cant do. I would get rid of each fox i saw on my ground, yet on my own permission id let each fox go because they aint causing no grief. Not preaching mate...but "let each fox go because they aint causing no grief".again your talking shit...wouldnt want you looking after no 6000 acre shoot a mine....if i had one well i was in charge of 6,000 acres and did a good job of it, so each to their own. Oh and please, no need to be telling me im talking shit. Its messers like you that ruin this site, straight away jumping down folks throats getting nasty. ferreter.al 22
i would feed them until they grow up and then i would hunt them.whats the point in killing a harmless cub??? atb B.M they mite be harmless now but they woant be in a couple of months and it only takes a couple of nites for them to empty the phesant pens or chicken pens,if i was the land owner or keeper they would be gone but if they arnt a threat to livestock then they arnt hurting anything,
Guest Rod&dog
Actually the Red Fox isn't vermin, it is an indigenous british mammal. Some individuals can become vermin when they get themselves into situations that conflict with man's business. Remember that wildlife management is a balance not a right to kill. Respect all wildlife and respect your quarry. I second that
SEAN3513 7
yes this is a "HUNTING" site..........not a lets kill everything that moves site !!!!!!! pest control is pest control...........but, and heres the difference....the person in question has not been asked( i presume) by the land owner to control pests.........if they had different story. foxes are very clever and because of this they cause a lot of damage......but love em or hate em you have to admire and respect them?????? cheers sean
Guest MickyB
Why feed em? is the vixen not feeding them? dont make sense to me...why help and encourage vermin?...so the youngsters can grow and push out to cause problems on others property?...f****n daft if you ask me It doesnt make sense to me either.... why feed wild cubs??? I have many thriving litters on my land, and they will be safe until autumn, but I wouldnt feed them, its going against the natural scheme of things.... let nature take its course with the litter, weak may die, strong will survive.... but in my experience foxes are more than capable of rearing cubs without our help. Also, I have been called upon to remove litters of cubs on several occaisions, and when it is a job that needs to be done, for pest control, then I will do it.. im not against pest control at all.
