jigsaw 11,866
way would the bnp look at the irish living in britain.I read they are for britain being run by british so how would the irish fare?I'm not being argumentative just wondering what you guys think.Just say a bloke that moved to britain 20-30 years ago, married an english lass, raised his kids as british, how is he looked upon by the bnp or is he accepted as a native after all this time?Just thought it would make a good discussion,i have some great mates from britain and your game fairs are the dogs danglies so that proves im not biased if you take offence to this topic(and I cant see why you would)just ignore it.I see a lot of irish flags on here but the members have lived over for many a year.If say the bnp got to send all the other non nationals back from whence they came as some on here reckon they should how would my country people be situated, would they be ''ONE OF YER OWN'' or also looked upon as not necessary.Just put up as a good discussion so no insults from either side guys/gals.Havent a clue what type of reaction to expect but looking forward to the replies. mad al 146
Send them all to Tralee JS? I think we are all brothers at the end of the day, but how do folk especially from your neck of the woods define "Brits"? I have been on the sharp end of this and I have to say I don't blame the Irish one bit and when I am tarred as a "racist",feck me the Irish, Scots and Welsh have lived with it for years
gnasher16 30,217
Myself i cant see any problem at all in sharing my country with likeminded folk be it irish/jock/welsh etc.....i have irish friends we share a pint and a chat the same as id share with an english mate be it in england or ireland they welcome me over there the same as i welcome them over here...... These people who hate the bnp and call bnp supporters racist have no real understanding of human nature and simply repeat words they read in the media......the word racist has no real meaning.......to the normal man in the street like myself common sense plays a bigger role than fancy trendy words and as a normal english man i have a lot in common with a normal irish/jock or welshman we share virtually the same culture and have the same values.......that is totally different to forcing people to integrate from totally different cultures with nothing in common. lurcher lass 9
must confess i've been concerned over this myself, considering their veiw is to send non native persons even those who have been here 4 or 5 generations back to the country they apparently came from to be honest i find this scary both my parents were born in ireland and though i was born in london i have an irish passport and every legal document states me as irish, it also makes me wonder about my daughter who was born in england and father - if you can call that excuse for a human being that!) is english i do wonder would i be expected to leave but my child stay?? to be honest i have decided for a while if bnp came into power i would move anyway, rather have chosen to move then be forced, if anyone who has political experience could let me know if they have so much as an idea as to what we can expect then please do inform us!! i agree with comments stated above i was 20 years old when i met an english doctor! thank you for starting this conversation its been makin me concerned for a little while now

Thats the thing though now mate....london is no longer a place for london people.....like i said above i have no problem sharing day to day life with " brits " of any nationality......but its basic common sense that says you cannot share your day to day life with people totally opposite to you in every way......yes you can tolerate them and thats whats forced on us these days....but " white flight " has been a massive choice to make over the years by many people just like me born bred and raised in london....do you " tolerate " what you dont like or do you get away from it.....so many people have got away from it london is no longer for london people but non london people probably love it as you say. stealthy1 3,964
First off, who the f**k wants to go to London, f**king sh*thole, you Irish boys are always welcome in Scotland anytime.
Matt 160
What is their policy on hunting? I note, with interest, that they support the RSPCA: The party supports animal welfare (such as the banning of Halal and Kosher slaughtering and the phasing out of factory farming) and environmental policies, supporting Greenpeace in its fight against Japanese whaling ships and the RSPCA's campaign against the docking of dogs' tails. I think people should be very careful not to vote for a party until they are fully aware of their policies.

lurcher lass 9
agree its surprising that this should be topic people should feel strongly about and i exppected to see pages and pages of replies!! people are to busy posting random topics and starting fights then discussing a subject that is important with regards to london not being for london people i haven't read so much nonsense for a while i was born in london and grew up but left so i could gain new hunting permission and countryside work opportunities, and i agree that london as changed a bit but times change, when the irish first moved to london there used to be signs stating no irish and me dad was arrested for having an accent a couple of times, but times change people change and society changes. now though there are still cultures receiving abuse mostly this country is good at accepting people, be they white, black, mixed race, christian, jewish, muslim, straight bisexual or gay. its one of the fantastic points about this country. london is still london and always will be but it will change as the times and people living there change people have been moving to london and others moving out of london for years!!
