Greyhounds have the deep muscle like the pheasant breast to give a short but impressive burst of speed. Salukis have the slim fine muscle that keeps them running all day. So. You want short running bunnies use a grey or a whippet. You want a longer run add in the saluki stamina BUT please be aware you have to put a bit of work in yourself.... Quote Link to post

jamiekelly 0 Posted June 14, 2009 Report Share Posted June 14, 2009 av run a salkui x for the last 3 years takes rabbits for fun in 20s even 30s a night no problem the only problem i seem to have with is that if ive been running him on bigger things then put him back on rabbits he runs half heartly but thats probably the dog not the breeding i think its a great cross go for it let us know [bANNED TEXT] they turn out like Quote Link to post
