Best bullet for bunnies!!

Recommended Posts

What is the best bullet for bunnies just getting into lamping with the rifle and my mates were using sub sonics for the .22 one of them was saying stingers were the best!

Stick with subs :clapper: , see what suits your gun, may be winnies, may be eley, may be something else.

High velocity .22 rounds are notoriously innacurate and have few fans.

Try a few and make up your own mind. ;);)

i tried some High velocity .22 rounds, last weekend, and what a racket, stick with winchester subs, eley smell a bit funny, never tried cci, just try different brands to see what your rifle likes, but most expanding ammo is about the same on bunnies,so its down to personal preference, bunnies dont seem to care one way or the other :clapper: ,a lead earing is a lead earing, oki doki, ian

Best bullet is the most accurate one in your rifle. Try a selection of the top makes, winchester ,eley or lapua are a good start. No point in stocking up until you have found the best one. Some makes shoot to the same poi some don't.

cci subs for me work well in my 10/22 eject well and accurate

They sure are good Riohog, i also find winchesters eject well too.

yep all cci , winchester and eley eject well in my 10/22 - no jams at all in over 500rounds with these - not even 1.

rws jams every single time though lol

have chosen eley for accuracy ;) very good
