And most of his lamping dogs only lasted 2 seasons, and they were fecked then. Even if they were a good line, with [stamina+Agilty], 50-60 rabbits with one dog ,it could be done. But hit the Ton with one dog, i dont think so. And unless you have market for that many rabbits, why feckin bother.??? Most game dealers want clean rabbits from [gun or ferret] , when a dog as to work that hard , they can get hard mouthed and who can blame them . I do not know that man you are talking about I made a good aquaintance , with Whin, I have been over to see Whin, and his very handy dogs, the other fellow I know on this site is fieldsportshunter , and I visited lamps + lurchers, when I was looking for a Pup and whin has some top dogs that I would be proud of and of course he is a very knowledgeable, man in this Lurcher world, The same man that told you the bag of bollox story about rabbits being stockpiled for a picture ... mark ... I do not know what you are on about I never met that man in my life, I was down at Fieldsportshunter, on sunday around trip of 280 miles just to talk about dogs and I took my 6 month old down with me, there was 4 genuine dog men there I asked them the question of 100 rabbits, by one dog on the lamp can it or could it be done adamant No the same as my answer,No, so the only way your going to prove it is by going out and doing it, my pup should be ready in about 12 to15 months time, I know I WOULD NEVER DO IT BECAUSE i HUNT TO FILL THE POT but maybe you and I could have a wee run for your insults, and maybe I could learn a thing or two, Quote Link to post

You've got it wrong, its mark that stock piles rabbits for a better picture...............and the reason he doesn't lay them out is so you can never actually tell how many he has, under neath his 'pile' is a mound of dirt to make it look bigger................... snoopdog 1,256 Posted June 15, 2009 Report Share Posted June 15, 2009 i asked a simple question would it do in september or would that not count ...because the rabbits arnt has good ....i did a 6 - 6 on the fens in feb with an 18 month old dog ,,,...but i got told the hares where shit ...you get where iam coming from.....i also took a lurcher to the fens that aint even bred for the big land and got 4 -5 missed my first through a silly slip... but got told the hares we balled up /....do you get where iam coming from now....simple question would september be exseptble.?????
