rhodesian ridgeback pre ban?

has anyone had any experience here or abroad with rhodesian ridgebacks or xs, do they respond well to command, does there size make them too slow for catching any larger quarry by themselves, would they just make a valued member to a larger working team.any info/pics/stories would be appreciated.

They use them in Oz, they x them with [greys,stags,]. They have good nose,stamina, some good drive[game], but as with alot of breeds there is a lot of Shit about . They use them on wild pigs in Oz, but not many use [ped dogs] .A good Bullx grey, would be a better dog.?

i know a pure ridge who'd take down deer on his own, pre ban of course

stunning dog my very good friend then crossed him with a pure greyhound and the pup they kept turned into one of the most stunning dogs i have ever seen and just as good a hunter as their father

i used to own a half x one , he was used for deer mainly (pre-ban) . he was worked with ferrets and on the lamp did take fox but hadnt done many ...

sold him last year biggest mistake ever ........ would have him back tomorrow if i could

one of mu friends have a ridge/grey it is an amasing dog and for being only 10 months or so took to work like a duck to water
