anyone lost pups two parvo.?.i bought a pup about 3yrs ago it died of parvo..so my kennels were invected.didnt know at first..bread lurcher pups about year ago they all died at 6weeks old.gutted. :( ..took them 2vet and he said it was parvo.he said it can stay in the wood..so knocked kennels down and built block kennels..had litter naw and all lived. :clapper::clapper: ...

it will always be in the ground. its best to try and breed in the summer the rays of sun kills it, and you should always try and inject them at 5 weeks and 11 weeks dont wait always do 1 week before atb mp
the vet said that aswell.did that and pups all lived.they r 9months naw.thanks for the advice pal.

Im lucky over here, i get my jabs from a loacl vet chemist, the parvo at 5 weeks and 8 in 1 when they reach 12 weeks.

how much are the jabs and how many are you allowed to by at once thanks

ps it is becouse my bitch had a litter last year and 8 died at for weeks and the vet saved the other 5

after having parvo in your kennels you need to scrub every inch of the place with "virkon" , this will kill the virus . i know this from my own personal expierience , i've had parvo in my kennels , lost most of a litter and cost me hundreds of ££££ in the vets . however since scrubbing with parvo i have bred 2 litters here and both litters have been strong and healthy :clapper:
