macca1smile 0
my advise sack the puppy find a dog thats doing what you want to do ,,buy it and let it teach you how to go on....pups are hard work mate and you'll be dissopointed with the out come if your just getting in to learchers you need skooling its a different ball game to sticking a collar round its neck and digging a big hole...it dont matter what cross it is if its doing the job its doing the job buy a worker mate and be a happy chappy... big jay 0
helo . im new to the world of lurchers and im keen on getting my first pup this year but im unsure on what cross i should go for, I am looking for a all rounder that isnt too big and can work and live around my terriers. rabbits will be the main quarry but when the ban is lifted i would require it to work fox. i would be very graitful of some advice on the subject. cant beat a 3/4 greyhound 1/4 collie mate great allrounders with brains Quote Link to post

I have some nice pups on at minute , smithfield tumbler type put to greyhound, saluki, whippet /deerhound, greyhound. these will make an excellent dog for what you require. should make around 24 - 26". I do same work wi my own dogs as what you are wanting to do ( after the ban ) . I am keeping one of the pups myself. Quote Link to post
