Small set back this morning with Mr Fitch, looks like the little git has eaten the stitches, rang the vet to see what he wants to do, said to take him to see him at 2 o'clock this afernoon, so see what happens then.

I had that happen to one of mine a few yrs back the sod chewed a stich out

 

The little git, hope he did it this morning and not last night, maybe less chance of infection if he did it this morning.

Looks like the vet made a nice job ,you will still have to wait at least 6 weeks before you use him though but still plenty time to find out if the op's worked

Quick update, hobs back from the vets, new revised stitching pattern, :D hope its hob proof, vet did it for free, if he chews them out this time he has to wear a lamp shade collar, that will be funny to watch. :D

The little bugger Stealthy! Still looks a clean cut mate, sure he'll be ok!

Just thinking? Could the lampshade be used to stop ferrets killing in! :D:D:D
