First of all keep it clean or i will ask for it to be taken off.I have been on this site for a few years.Been banned once.My fault.To start with.How come we all claim to have the best dogs,We know better than the next man(or women) I will tell you why.(We dont) You may think you do but you are only kidding yourself.To know it all we would all have to be about five hundred years old.We all slag each outher about this x is better than that x and this terrier is better than that but none of us know.How many cross breeds are out there.We dont know and untill we do and had a go at training every one about three or four times we are all talking crap.All we can say is that we like and go for a certain breed. Most of us cant see by it because it meets our needs.Think about it how many breeds or crossbreeds have you trained to a good working standard.Then ask yourself why you have failed were someone else did better and will stick by that breed.As my partner once said to me.You lot are like a bunch of old bitches bickering at each outher about your dogs.She was right.Most of us wear blinkers and can only see what is in front of us.We cant see or dont want to look at both sides.atb. I think I know what Catcher1 is on about. I've said as much the same. You see, most of the supposed "dogmen" on here are young lads and they talk a lot of smack, especially on some of the older dogmen. The older dogmen don't even bother for the most part, some don't have a computer, some could less give two shyts anyway as they've done it all and are laughing over the pointless arguments about which dog this or that. I've seen some of the better known and at one time well respected people get slagged by these same types, calling them peddlers, showers... whatever. I hope I'm around to see those who posted such shyt when its there turn in the barrel and some young punk is spouting off how his dogs are so much better and the other is just a peddler. What goes around, comes around, count on it... more true than gold it is.

 

None of us knows another mans dogs, we might suppose but we really don't know. Change one variable in a situation and still all you can do is make your best guess but that don't make it a fact. Sure, there are some very good dogmen on here but they're few and far between and don't say much and for good reason... they don't need or want a turn in the barrel, they know what they have and it suits them fine, they don't need approval from anyone on a computer.

 

Many people have taken the joy out of owning a working dog, they've turned it into a job. If its your job, then you shouldn't have time to be messing on the computer now should you?

Sorry mate dident see you as i am takeing a power.I have learned 1 get the right dog for your needs.2 Give the dog time and put in the effort 3 if the dog dosent come up to standard dont blame the dog.Sometimes its down to the owner 4 if you take a dog on keep it . 5 never give up on it. 6 We all learn as we go along no one know it all.atb.
