riohog 5,751 Posted June 13, 2009 Report Share Posted June 13, 2009 well they have been doing it for a couple of thousand years so i would think so henna is non toxic and will not penetrateany further than the top layer of skin when the top layer of dead skin comes away the henna comes with it so you have to keep re applieng it the crushed henna leaves are mixed with water but you can get henna paste Quote Link to post Share on other sites
