Anything that is too big to enter an earth whether it be fox or rabbit is of no use to me, as long as your terriers are game enough it shouldnt matter what size they are. i dont like all these dogs with ALOT of bull blood introduced, most of them lack sense when working fox! i acknowledge that bull blood was entered into alot of terriers including patterdales back in the day, but any addition of it now only ruins the strains in my opinion.

i have a half x bull patt .. a few people telling me he gonna be to big for earth work .. wich in my eyes i aint beliveing but the last litter have hit 15tts nice strong dogs and also sensible tbh anyone else got any half crosses tht are big dogs but still work em below all the best

heres a pic of my old bitch about a month ago shes 10 in october, her lips aint hangin off and she doesnt need to eat her food threw a straw, but the brain in that dog, and you never hear a sound, shes just over 15 to the shoulder, i can span her her chests just under 12 inches, thats her son in my display pic hes about hte same size just a wee bit smaller.

The lad I go out with had a terrier off old cowan Monty breeding that looked very similar to your bitch, and was a strong terrier. the dog was bred from a terrier called Nelson, any of that in your lines?

More leggy than wide - which is where it counts.

This dog is the best rock dog i have ever used or seen, will go anywhere and has the strenght to pull it out where he can.

Hes an out and out grafter and unfortunately, as hes not mine, I dont work him as often as he would like.
