BIG TYPE EARTHDOGS ???

Hi RK,..

 

Ive been talking to Dan Edwards, and he lives just up the road from me (about 3-4hrs) and he runs them July hounds on yotes, and he sometimes gets them up pipes,...hopefully this coming season i will be able to get out with him, and find out what Cadno does?!...im guessing he will bay, as he is NOT a hard dog, but if a strange dog gets on the yard, he thinks nothing of throttling it!...and being that a coyote is a canine, maybe he would be harder on them?...ive realy no idea?...i sure wouldnt want to 'waste' a good digging dog on trying them on yotes, but as the dog is so big, and he has limited use, why not try him eh?...

heres a pic of my old bitch about a month ago shes 10 in october, her lips aint hangin off and she doesnt need to eat her food threw a straw, but the brain in that dog, and you never hear a sound, shes just over 15 to the shoulder, i can span her her chests just under 12 inches, thats her son in my display pic hes about hte same size just a wee bit smaller.

i have a half x bull patt .. a few people telling me he gonna be to big for earth work .. wich in my eyes i aint beliveing but the last litter have hit 15tts nice strong dogs and also sensible tbh anyone else got any half crosses tht are big dogs but still work em below all the best

Klank,big and wide which was his downfall on his first dig of his second season

he was lakeland/russell/bull im told.He was jammed tight when we opened up and unfortunately dead.It was the second time in his short life he got stuck.
