Freddy Watts 1
You don't here many complaints about the lightning mate. I had one as my first gun and my mate has one now. They are a good price and get the job done. ATB Freddy Quote Link to post
Guest air gunner
can i ask why you are changing from the supersport? is yours broken? Quote Link to post
Freddy Watts 1
I don't think he has the supersport anymore airgunner. Think thats why he is after a new rifle. I may be wrong but I get the feeling that he got rid of the supersport a while ago for whatever reason rather than he is wanting to change now. ATB Freddy Quote Link to post
johnboy19 38
i have a lightning xl tactical [bANNED TEXT], my first gun. very glad i bought it so would definetly recomend it Quote Link to post
will 16
i sold the super sport a few years ago because i wasent using it much im sorry i didnt keep it now it was a cracking little gun i only paid 100 pound for it second hand from a shop there wasent a mark on it not even on the pin that keeps the barrel shut Quote Link to post
Guest air gunner
ok then well now thats out of the way. Whats stopping you from getting another supersport? if you have had some experiance with using springers with good results then you may want a change so go for a second hand pcp. in my opinion though springers are a much better bet for a budget with close to the same results as a pcp. your choice an occasional check up or new bottles refilling etc. Quote Link to post
will 16
i dont know anything aboute guns but i think that a springer might be better for me because it will be cheaper to buy and live with compeard to pcp my mate has a pcp and has to refill it all the time and says the power drops off after a few shots i would buy another supersport but i thought the lightening was the newer and better one Quote Link to post
SEAN3513 7
supersport is a better gun than a lightning in my opinion..........heavier, but better. cheers sean Quote Link to post
