borntoshoot 1
magnet will work if the crows are made of iron or steel. Quote Link to post
brno17 5
as sounder said ive used a fox skin (with muzzle) put onto a chicken wire frame to look like a standing fox, over a real crow on a motorised flapper. they dive at the fox so hard they wont even notice you in the hide. ive shot some great bags this way. pisses them off no end. atb alan. Hunting-top-shots 2
With Brno 17 on this one put one or 2 flappers out on 8mm spring steel rods about 6ft they float and flap over the stuffed fox and the first crow that is shot is put in the jaws of the fox with broken wings hanging down so that the wind moves them. works a treat I got my fox stuffed from fleabay for about 12 quid worth every penny!! I have never tried a rotary for crows and if I did I think it would have to be very slow and the caller blowing short fast blasts, also try not to blow through the caller rather try to clear the throat this makes the call deeper and more realistic 807 crows thought so last year. keep at it a dead crow is a good crow.
