Those shop bought snares get a bit of a hard knock on here but, if you're trying to find out if snaring is for you, they are not a bad starting point- especially off a fence line. You'll have more success with a larger loop, especially if you're hoop / peg snaring. I really reccommend woodga's dvd Quote Link to post
