lowlander 0
ive been looking for a scope mounted lamp for a while now but couldnt really afford any, so ive found the deben tracer stinger which is in my price range, so i just wondered if it would be suitable for rabbits on my s400k?, how long will a battery last? and what sort of beam range will it have with the red filter? cheers lowlander Quote Link to post

Richard_J 0
Hi you might want to look at the tesco torches, ive got the AA one mounted to my barrel, do a search on here theres a really good thread some where Quote Link to post
trappa 518
I dont know what an s400 is but ive got a stinger on my rimmy and its ok. It has a beam that covers around 30 yards well, 50 yards poorly, depends on what you are shooting with. I got it because i was having trouble getting someone to come lamping with me so i needed to go alone. For the price, its worth it imo. Quote Link to post

spike25blue 55
hi there bud i have a stinger and also have this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Ultrafire-R2-LED-300...%3A1%7C294%3A30 and it is way better than the stinger it uses a cree bulb and runs off the same batteries and you can get the pressure switch for it also in total it will cost 30 quid and the seller is very good and fast delivery i have dealt with them many times atb rob Quote Link to post
Deker 3,478
The Stinger is designed for CLOSE range air rifle, put a red filter on it and the range of the lamp may just reach the end of your barrel, and 70 yards is more than optimistic even without a filter! Quote Link to post
lee 99
imo dont waste your time on the tesco jobbys or the stinger get the 501b like rob is saying. iv been using one for a good while and there easily better than both mentioned Quote Link to post
