danebrewer10 6
Ok I got a question for y'all this really applies to the european scope names like S&B Swarovski and Zeiss, Apart from scope tube size, which makes the price different, is there really any appreciable difference between their lower and higher priced copes? like Zeiss have the Classic and Victory lines, S&B have their Zenith and Classic lines (German & Hungarian) and Swarovski have their Z lines and their Habicht scopes the glass is probably slightly different, but is it more a case of virtually same glass in different clothes? and whop a different price tag on there and you've got a "new" scope to release? Cheers DB Quote Link to post

Cheers DB I can only speak for S&B scopes there is no difference between German and Hungarian all parts are produced in Germany, Hungarian stamped scopes are assembled in Hungary as they are cheaper to build over there, hence the difference in price, quality is the same, although i have a 30 year old S&B 6 x 42 and a 5 year old S&B 6 x 42 and the older ones optics are better by far.
