hi i was speaking to a mate yesterday and he said he was knocked back for his sgc, he held a sgc over 10 years back and never renewed it after the farmer soled up where he use to shoot, he wanted to re apply last year as he missed the sport so he did so after 8 or 9 months since his application went in he got the interview everything went OK apart from the medical side as he is reg, disabled due to him being a registered epileptic, so that was the only problem but he got the last sgc with the very same medical report, anyway the police asked him to cum to the station 2 officers interview him about his sgc and why he handed his original one back so he toled them then one of the officers sade he was reg, diabbled he sade yes the p/o sade thay had word that he was getting some work here and there so it would be bad for him if he did not drop his application for sgc, the lad is a good lad never out of line he is quit upset in the way he was treated is there any thing he can do cheers.

Simple, write in to the Firearms Licensing Dept. Manager and ask for a written explanation of what grounds the officers had to question him and ask why they put pressure on him to change his mind. Sounds like coercion to me.

thats what i was thinking cheers
